Elliot Morton
4th Dan

I started karate when I was 8 years old shortly after having moved to Spain. My first class was in Washinkai with Sensei Geovanny Sánchez who is my main instructor. It is hard to tell exactly when I started my karate teaching career since I started instructing and helping as a Senpai from an early age.

Having opened my first class in 2016, I now have dojos in IES No.1 School and Laude Lady Elizabeth School. I also look forward to opening another in the Laude Lady Elizabeth Senior School.

I am currently a 4th Dan Black Belt and have the Level 1 Trainer´s Certificate. I passed my 1st Dan in 2013 and at the time of writing (2018), have been practising in Washinkai Karate for 14 years.

I teach from around ages 5 into adulthood, separated by age and belt groups. My classes are usually in a blend of English, Spanish, Japanese and body language depending on the situation. I currently have around 40 students in total.

You will usually see me during events and courses in the Washinkai UK clubs or if you join a class in Washinkai España.
