The Association held its Annual Instructors' dinner at the Hilton Hotel, Cobham, Surrey on Saturday 13 December. It has been a few years since we used the Hilton, however it was a completely new building, having just completed a £6m update.
Numbers were low this year due to instructors having other commitments. However a great atmosphere was generated by those who attended.
This year the recipient of the Graham Smith Trophy was Steve Hensman, 5th Dan, Tadworth Karate Club. Steve has been the Association's DBS ma for many years, as well as teaching at his club. Many congratulations Steve!
We have booked the same venue for next year's dinner.
